[Action1 : 921 Bilko Blvd. Waking up is awfully strange, especially when you don't sleep. Aurora Belle sits up in the bed for a few moments, blinking in confusion. Everything around her was solid, as well. Was this some new fancy house in the Afterlife? They certainly never had pajamas before there. Or sleeping people.

Speaking of. Poke poke, sleeping man. There's a lovely new wife for you to wake up to.]

Hello! Hi. Um. I have a lot of questions for you, if you don't mind.

[After that, it's off to explore the house. She'll be gawking at the photos, poking the appliances, and generally touching anything and everything like it is all shiny, new and novel. This will lead to a phone call to everyone! There's a clattering sound as the receiver hits the ground.]

Oh no! Did I break it? What... How do these things work again? [Insert the sound of the receiver being fiddled with.]


[Later, Action 2: Aurora has taken to the streets to explore her surroundings. Despite any warnings she may have been given, she looks like she's having a grand old time. She looks positively giddy as she comes upon the park. She'll be stopping whoever passes by to share her joy with.]

Isn't. This. AMAZING? I had no idea that the sun felt like this! Or that the air smelled like this! [She breathes in and lets out a deep breath.] And that breathing is so easy! You don't even have to think about it or anything! Or blinking, either! Or a lot of things! Hey, do you think I can climb that tree?

[So there's Hol... minding his own business when! A young lady catches his eye. With his mind cluttered, he decided to try to clear it.]

[ Ilsa finds her in the park by following the glow of OMG HAPPY, and arrives just in time to hear the plan to climb a tree. ]

How long has it been since you went climbing?

[ No, she's not pinging that Aurora is a ghost, just that she hasn't been human recently. ]

[She's practically glowing.] Oh. Hello! Hmm, well I try to be! And you seem to be one of the people in their right minds in this town.

[She's already trying to climb it and obviously has no idea what she's doing. It doesn't help that she's wearing 1950-s ladies shoes and a dress.]

Oh, not in a tree ever. I've seen people do it, though, it looks like fun, sitting up there in the leaves and the breeze.

[Well, okay. Iceland will just stand there while she talks about ridiculous things so it's nothing he's not used to.]

[She grins widely, and giggles.] Only one way to find out!

[And off she goes! ...To struggle vainly. It doesn't seem to be stopping her yet, though.]

[Jumping... jumping... Hey, she grabbed a branch! She was once an athletic girl, but climbing wasn't what she did.]

I AM new, it's true. Is that place really that bad? A town that lets me be like this can't be all bad, can it?

[She spins around, skirt twirling. She then plops happily down onto the grass, and picks a dandelion, looking it over. It's like you've run into a Disney princess, Hol.]

[Iceland did you just make a comment about a lady's weight because she's looking mildly affronted here.]

I'm not heavy! It'll be fine. I'm not some klutzy cow.

[She manages to pull herself up to the first branch, looking satisfied now.]

N-no, I meant the ones way up high won't hold a person at all.

I was in the Afterlife. I was dead.

[She says this very plainly, not bothered, still playing with the flower.]

[She sits there for a moment, looking around, swinging her legs.] I'm Aurora. Nice to meet you.

I know! I thought it was strange too, that I would get brought here from the Afterlife, but what do you know! Here I am, corporeal again. If bad things are going to happen here, well... I'm just not going to think about them yet. I'll worry about it when the time comes.

[Shakes her head] Nope, not at all, actually! I think it's better that way, don't you? Then you don't miss anyone or anything. You just have the Afterlife, and the other people there. Though if I don't get back there, they're going to think I fell into the Void... Oh no.
