[Action1 : 921 Bilko Blvd. Waking up is awfully strange, especially when you don't sleep. Aurora Belle sits up in the bed for a few moments, blinking in confusion. Everything around her was solid, as well. Was this some new fancy house in the Afterlife? They certainly never had pajamas before there. Or sleeping people.

Speaking of. Poke poke, sleeping man. There's a lovely new wife for you to wake up to.]

Hello! Hi. Um. I have a lot of questions for you, if you don't mind.

[After that, it's off to explore the house. She'll be gawking at the photos, poking the appliances, and generally touching anything and everything like it is all shiny, new and novel. This will lead to a phone call to everyone! There's a clattering sound as the receiver hits the ground.]

Oh no! Did I break it? What... How do these things work again? [Insert the sound of the receiver being fiddled with.]


[Later, Action 2: Aurora has taken to the streets to explore her surroundings. Despite any warnings she may have been given, she looks like she's having a grand old time. She looks positively giddy as she comes upon the park. She'll be stopping whoever passes by to share her joy with.]

Isn't. This. AMAZING? I had no idea that the sun felt like this! Or that the air smelled like this! [She breathes in and lets out a deep breath.] And that breathing is so easy! You don't even have to think about it or anything! Or blinking, either! Or a lot of things! Hey, do you think I can climb that tree?

My grandparents died ten years before I was born, but I grew up with them being a part of the family. Maybe that's why I can see the ones that aren't hiding.

How fascinating! That they stayed on Earth like that for so long... Some ghosts choose that, though, if they're lucky enough to find their loved ones, I think.

Hmm, I guess that's as possible as anything else, but it's terrible... Not that there will be any good to kidnapping that I can think of.

There's a few that have been around for longer in the area around my hometown, but some are there because they are guardians, [ she smiles and wrinkles her nose, ] and some stick around just out of sheer meanness.

Usually folks get droned for breaking some kind of rule this town has made up. Otherwise it's just random and you're pretty much right about that. But you'd be surprise how much time you have sometimes. Well, as long as you're not one to make a lot of noise, I guess.

But obvious or not, at least you're taking it rather well. Lots of folks get pretty angry about finding themselves here.

The only people at my house are drones, 'cept me 'acourse. It's actually pretty freakin' boring there -- dat's why I'm almost never in that place.

I haven't met many people outside'a my house yet, and if I met someone claimin' to be a nation I'd just laugh in their face.

[A bird swoops down really close to Scout's head and he angrily swats it away.]

So y'were really a ghost? Tell me, what was it like?

[He's actually curious. He's still apprehensive about believing her, but he had technically died plenty of times back home and is wondering what would have happened if he weren't a part of RED and weren't re-spawned all of the time.]

Ah, that's too bad. There's only one in my house. Weird how they call me "mom" all the time. It feels really wrong.

You mean compare it to being alive? Well, I've only been alive for a few days now... It's good though! There's lots of people in the Afterlife, and you can visit Earth if you want, but I usually stay back and hang out with my friends there, and help the new people who come in.

Oh, well, being kidnapped isn't so great, but this place is pretty nice anyway! I've always wanted to be human. So many things I wanted to try.

[She snickers.] I know some who are like that. One of my friends is always threatening to become a poltergeist or something, but he's too much of a scardy-cat for that.
